More Tie&Dye styled into cards ;D

Hey there! I’ve just finished making some Tie&Dyes (4 to be specific) again this time around and I was making them for Deepavali. (Yeah, I can’t believe I’m giving them out…) This time, I pasted them and turned them into cards XD

The colours used this time was Cobalt Blue, Purple, Pink, Lemon Yellow and White although the colours are sometimes mixed for a different hues or colours. The colours for this batch are kinda pale >_< since I placed a lot of emphasization on more tones and graduation(?).

P.S: My dad asked me, ‘Why don’t you do it on clothes?’. Don’t dyeing them need lots of money? Besides, you can’t really be free in choosing the colours and the design of the clothes?

ちびのあたし？！- Chibi no Atashi?!

Hi there! Here’s another doodle that I did during History class.

Inspired by the chibi me (chibi means small or petite in Japanese), I decided that I should be the character in this doodle here~

Well, that’s all for now. I will be busy during November because of the finals at school. Look out here for any updates of what I’m doing (just in case you’re watching out for updates at my other blogs and communities XD)

Story #2 – Half of a Prologue…

Okay, this is another of my story. Again, no endings yet.

‘Do you have a guardian angel?’, asked a red-haired girl to the blonde-haired one. ‘No.’, she said. The red-haired girl continued, ‘but you can see them right?’. ‘Yeah, so?’, the blonde-haired girl answered as though she doesn’t want any continuation after that.

 

That blonde-haired girl that can see guardian angels, her name is . She is a very particular girl among her classmates in school. The reason is that she can see guardian angels, an ability that no one around her has. Of course, to her, this ability is a double edged sword, both a blessing and a curse.

 

So what if I can see them? There’s no good in that.

 

Class has already started and everybody’s now in their seats.

The class’s home-room teacher, ??-sensei has come in to take down the class’s attendance. Everyone is still squirming in their seats since the blonde-haired girl is the new transfer student. Rumours has started the day before she started school that she is able to see them.

The home-room teacher came over to her to brief her and make sure that she’s fine in her first day here.

 

Not if I don’t have one.

 

The bells have rang and everybody’s starting to leave the classrooms to walk back home. The girls, especially the red-haired has invited her to walk back home together with her. She started to ask a lot of questions but slowed down when she remembered her reaction previously when she asked whether she can see them.

Before she left her other friends, her friends were saying that it’s great that she get to walk home with her since they thought that there’s a possibility of her being a fortune teller or palm reader or just pretty much what she isn’t.

 

Seriously. What do they think I am? I know I can see them, but it doesn’t mean that I’m great.

These people really are something. Thinking that once you possess power, the world are with you. People would kill to have what I have.

 

‘Um, can I ask you something?’, asked the red-haired to her. ‘Sure.’, she replied coolly.

 

‘Are you free this weekend? I want to ask you out.’, said the red-haired. ‘Yeah, but what for? I don’t really like to go out with anybody who are new to me. They make me feel awkward.’, said the blonde-haired.

The red-haired has a feeling that she understood what this girl is all about. But she refused to be put down by her masks. “Everybody thinks of her as a person with mystical powers but not me. She looks like a person with pain and suffering.”

 

A person that nobody has yet to connect with her.

 

Let me explain. In this universe, there are guardian angels. Each individual will have their unique guardian angel. Everybody has one but not many could see them, can they?

Of course, some of them resembles the figures mentioned in the ancient text, such as Gabriel and Lucifer, the angel while the other is the fallen one. Although the guardian angels are similar to figures in ancient texts, they already possess their own personality so it was most probably thought that they wouldn’t be as what they were mentioned in the ancient text.

And I thought I wouldn’t be disturbed here. Better leave soon. She squirmed in her place that she chose by the river at the slight inhabited part of the school.

“Sorry for disturbing you. I was just passing through here.”, she said.

 

Just as I thought, passing through. It’s as though I don’t exist, passing through. It’s like a flash in my life, a fleeting moment, with scars that last.

 

“Ehh, you’re reading Jane Eyre? I really like reading that book, by the look of the book, it seems that you’ve been re-reading the book.”, said the red-haired.

Looking at the blue sky, she started to think of the things that people asked her to do.

 

ねね、ゆうかちゃん。教えてもらうませんか、わたしの運命。

運命？それは。。。

それは？

いえ、なんでもない。

さあ、あなたの運命は。。。

 

“Excuse me, are you okay? It seems like you dozed off for a bit.”, said the red-haired. “Ah, it seems so. Sorry.”

 

Great, now I feel awkward. Dozing off in front of a classmate was stupid.

 

 

Story #1 – Opening

Okay, I said that I will post a few stories up so here’s one as a start. There’s no starting to it yet so I will try to post up chapters if I could continue the story. It seems to be hard for me to write a flowing story since I do not know what the ending should be!

My conscience waver like a willow tree in a strong breeze. However, it stands strong after all this while. Of course this saying, “Stick and stones won’t break my bones.” rings true, it does not apply to anyone when bullies strike.

 

“Why do you say so, my dear author”, says my main protagonists, Mika and Yuuya. “This is where my stories of drama and socials issues come to life for you all in this dear story”.

Mid-autumn Festival card!

Hi there! Thanks to all who read this blog as well as willing to look at my artwork, it’s kinda contributes to my self-esteem about my artistic abilities

Okay, I was asked to draw/make a card so I my imagination helped me ended up with a Mid-autumn Festival card. Only my Pentel Techniclick 0.5 and my Staedtler Rasoplast was used this time.

It’s not that clear but I hope it’s sufficient

Okay, the streaks of line on the card was supposed to be like a flower or fern? The insects on the cover was inspired by the thought of Fujiwara no Akiko and Abe no Masahiro of Shounen Onmyouji going to Mount Kifune to see the fireflies at the end of summer.

Since summer has ended and it’s already approaching the Chinese Mid-autumn Festival, I finished with a Mid-autumn Festival card.

I used a different approach for the card this time, I folded it in an unconventional way so now it looks like it was inspired from the origami

I will probably put up an opening of a story I wrote, it will probably be considered nonsense but comments or suggestions for the story are welcomed but no bashing of my work

Tie&Dye Series~ Part 1

Hi there! I will now show my Tie&Dye Series done by me~ I just did it on Friday so it’s the latest thing from me now.

If I could make it, I will probably put up some of my writings here, just for fun XD But none of them will ever have endings, since my head has a ‘my life hasn’t started so why write an ending for a story?’ thing, so in advance, sorry ._.

The colours used for this time (at least for these batch) were Ultramarine, Cobalt, Purple, Pink, Yellow, Lemon Yellow, Brilliant Red and White. The tissues were from Kimberly Clark’s Scott brand that were used in hotels.

I like to use the ones from here because of the durability of the tissues. Unlike the ones I use, facial tissues are too soft and absorbent for tie and dyes so if you put too much colour (as well as water) to it, when you want to open it up, it will tear. This is not the first time I did this but it has been since a few years since end of 2005. The photos of them will be posted up later.

I tried to fold the tissue differently so I would get different results from the poster colour painted on so everything wouldn’t be the same. I actually wanted to open up this piece but I decided not to. I thought it will be more attractive this way

Next will be… this! I added extra volume of water to make it look like it’s of watercolour. It’s different from the rest of the batch. All these has lighter tints to it but it came out nicely~

This one? I don’t really know what to say. What do you think?

This is つきの色 (Tsuki no Iro) or in English, Moon Colours. This was the last one that I made from the remaining colours I have on my palette which were Purple, Cobalt and a mixture of colours that I mixed from the leftover colours.

I just doodled this just now and took a shot with a camera.

I started this with the eyes (so random -_-) that something just came out. Sorry about the blanks in the photo, it’s just I drew randomly so the paper contains some information that I can’t say.

More of my artwork~

Hi there! It’s been a while since I posted anything here but here are a few of my artwork, 1 from 2007 and 4 from 2008. Everything are drawn originally but sometimes certain aspects of the artwork is strongly inspired by some characteristics I want to see in my work

This is the one from 2007, drawn when I was not really concentrating in (a few) my Moral Studies class. It doesn’t quite reflect my style but this drawing is completely inspired by Hiroki Yagami’s Dear Boys character, Mai Moritaka.

This one, hmm… I can’t really remember where this character come from but I got a feeling that it’s somehow based on somekind of series like Star Wars or SoltyRei’s Illumina.

Okay, this one is supposed to mimic a panel from a manga (or comic). But then, it’s all my own creation. It’s supposed to be a scary background when this female character meet the in-laws XD The setting is supposingly in another world. (Yeah I know, fantasy.)

Ah, this one. This was drawn when I was in school and and that period of time, I was just starting to read Kaichou wa Maid-sama! by Hiro Fujiwara so the hair for this character was made to look somewhere like that The character is supposed to be getting angry at her escort since he was late.

Hi there! I suppose the few I’m going to put now is the first for the blog.

My work are all abstracts I suppose, since I do this without the technical terms and all.

My thoughts will be put up later. Comments are welcome!

Hi! Unfortunately, I’m still unable to use the wireless broadband that my father tried to subscribe.

To continue this blog, I hope my area is covered soon and I’ll upload some of my artwork then.

Another thing to clarify is that this blog of mine is no longer showing artwork but everything related to art. For example: lyrics, poems, stories and artwork. I don’t really do everything that I mentioned just now but check this blog from time to time just in case I upload anything.
